  • Detenido en Ibiza un finlandés con una orden europea de detención por cometer fraudes mediante 'vishing'
    Agentes de la Unidad de Droga y Crimen Organizado (UDYCO) de la Policía Nacional de Ibiza han llevado a cabo la detención de un ciudadano finlandés con una Orden Europea de Detención y Extradición (OEDE), emitida por las autoridades finlandesas, por «supuestos delitos económicos cometidos mediante el fraude conocido como 'vishing'», detalla la Policía Nacional a través de un comunicado. Según continúan explicando, el detenido, identificado como responsable de una serie de estafas económicas, habría utilizado el método conocido como vishing, una modalidad de fraude que combina la ingeniería social con la suplantación de identidad a través de llamadas telefónicas, para levar a cabo los fraudes. Mediante esta técnica, el individuo se hacía pasar por representante de entidades financieras de confianza, como bancos o empresas de servicios, para así obtener claves de acceso a cuentas bancarias de sus víctimas. Both young women were taken to Can Misses Hospital, where they received emergency medical attention.
